Matt Davignon - “Charcoal”:
The tracks on "Charcoal" were originally recorded in 1999, as companion pieces to the 1998 cd "5 Spots". All the sounds come directly from a "5 Spots" cd, but in most cases they are completely new songs rather than remixes. This was the last recording that I ever made to 4-track cassette. It was originally released in 2003 - the first of what was going to be a series of 3" cd releases. The second release was "Yellow", and the 3rd release wound up turning into the full-length cd "Bwoo".
